The lead-up to the semi-finals of the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Mallorca Championships was marked on Friday by the traditional ProAm, an event that once again brought together tournament representatives, sponsors and personalities from the world of sport in a relaxed atmosphere at the Mallorca Country Club.

Emilia Pena Rossler claimed victory, while Pedro Manera finished as runner-up after a morning in which tennis once again served as a meeting point for the tournament's guests and partners.

Among the participants was Tournament Director Toni Nadal, joined by Edwin Weindorfer, CEO of emotion Group; Vasilios Polymeropoulos, Vice President of Vanda Pharmaceuticals, the tournament's title sponsor; and his sister Katerina, together with other guests connected to the event.

As is now tradition, the ProAm once again provided an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the tournament, its sponsors and partners ahead of the semi-finals of the only ATP 250 grass-court tournament held in Southern Europe.
