French pair Théo Arribage and Albano Olivetti claimed the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Mallorca Championships doubles title after defeating Andre Goransson and Evan King 7-6(7), 3-6, 11-9 in a thrilling match tie-break on Centre Court at the Mallorca Country Club.
With the victory, Arribage and Olivetti captured their sixth ATP Tour title as a team and their fifth of the season, having previously triumphed in Auckland, Montpellier, Dallas, Almaty, Halle and now Mallorca. They also extended their winning streak to seven matches and became the first all-French team to win the doubles title in the tournament's history.
The French duo confirmed their outstanding form throughout the week. After coming back from a set down and saving two match points in their opening match, they progressed confidently through the remaining rounds before lifting the trophy and further establishing themselves as one of the strongest doubles teams on the ATP Tour.
The day also brought the MC Teen competition to a close. American Lyla Wood was crowned girls' champion after a commanding 6-2, 6-0 victory over Spain's Adriana Córdoba. In the boys' final, Joan Suau came from a set down to defeat Hugo Bassols 4-6, 6-3 before prevailing in the match tie-break to claim the title in an all-Spanish final.
